Laurel, Maryland – Friends of Tonga is pleased to share some photos and videos of the installation of rainwater cisterns across the outer islands of Tonga. In July, FoT wired $48,000 USD to the Civil Society Forum of Tonga (CSFT) to finance the purchasing, transportation, and installation of 24 rainwater collection systems (each having the capacity to hold 10,000 liters of clean drinking water).
